What does “Send a copy of login credentials to student” mean?

By default, “send a copy of login credentials to student” is set to “No,” which means that the student will not be notified that you have created an account for them (or assigned the placement test).  If you leave this option as “no,” it will be up to you to notify your student that they can log in with the email address and password that you created for them. If you change this option to “yes,” then your student will receive an automated email with their email address and password so that they can log in (and take the test if you’ve assigned it).  You can see this in action here.
