Teaching Strategies for Online ESL Tutoring #2

Welcome to the second session of our webinar series focused on “Teaching Strategies for Online ESL Tutoring”.

The webinar was shot on Wednesday June 3rd, 2015 at 7:30pm (EST/NYC time). James Heywood and Kris Jagasia provided a demonstration of some of the tools and techniques they use for running their online ESL lessons including their favourite videoconferencing system, and their favourite content tool. The webinar is packed with great information that will be of interest to existing online ESL teachers who want to expand their skill set or those thinking about venturing into the online world.

James is an online ESL teacher and co-founder of Off2Class. He has a background in language and linguistics and has logged over 4500 hours of online ESL tutoring in the last 3 years. You can read more about him here.

I have added language teaching to all my teaching experiences in technical fields just recently. Obviously I need some support to know about others’ experiences. This is the site which has been introduced to me by one of my trainers and I found it so helpful. Hope I can take part and enjoy it.
