Are all Unit Check questions multiple-choice?

Yes.

Our goal is to save teachers time, so the Unit Checks are auto-corrected.

To build an auto-corrected placement test, we included only questions that have one possible correct answer. Auto-correction precludes open-ended questions and information questions.

Students can perform tasks well through repetition and familiarity, so we’ve chosen to go with the same format for each question in every Unit Check. We think that the Unit Checks will become a simple and enjoyable way for students to take responsibility for their learning.
