Off2Class for online lessons with Zoom

Welcome to the new Off2Class!

Today, we would like to show you how to use Off2Class for your online lessons with Zoom.

For those that have never used Zoom as a videoconferencing system for online lessons, you can download it here. It’s one of Off2Class’ favourite tools for online ESL lessons. You can read our review of using Zoom for online lessons here.
One of our favourite features of teaching online lessons with Zoom is the great annotations that you can use. By drawing all over your screen while screen sharing Off2Class content, it’s easy to simulate a real whiteboard. (we show you how to do this in the webinar below)
You can now use Off2Class to:

  1. Send homework to your students at the end of lessons, and review your students’ responses against the answer key in a follow up lesson
  2. Track your students’ lesson progress
  3. Save notes about your students, which appear automatically the next time you enrol them in a lesson (super helpful to prompt you before a lesson starts!)
  4. Hide the Teacher Notes from your student while teaching either online (videoconferencing) or in person (using your mobile device)

Off2Class integrates perfectly when using Zoom as your videoconferencing classroom. Watch this short video tutorial to learn how to teach online lessons with Zoom and Off2Class.

As always, let us know if you have any questions by adding a comment below!

We hope you enjoy teaching your online lessons with Zoom and Off2class!
