All of this can affect confidence when speaking. My students come to me to gain fluency and confidence with using English in a safe and fun environment.

I am interested in language learning from an academic standpoint. If you are a language student looking for an academic approach to language learning instead of simply conversation lessons, then I am the teacher for you! My interests lie in working in all 4 language domains (reading, writing, listening, speaking) and strengthening those for you, whether it is for work or life. Your English language progression is my main priority!

With over 10 years of teaching experience, I am here to make your language journey a success. I use a structured plan to review areas of strength and develop areas of weakness. Each student receives a placement assessment to take before the trial lesson. While I do use conversational methods in class, I focus on specific language functions and tasks.

During the trial lesson, we review the assessment and discuss goals. I also get to know you and your specific dreams for learning English, past experiences, and pain points.

I have taught in English language academies and public schools. Additionally, I have been a school principal. I have my California state teaching credential as well as my 120 Hour TEFL certificate.
