How to Give a Great Trial ESL Lesson – Webinar

Welcome to the final Off2Class webinar of 2016!

For this addition, we’ve invited Chris Rush from Better Business English to coach us on how to deliver successful trial ESL lessons.

Providing a trial ESL lesson is an inevitable part of teaching ESL independently. The typical conversion funnel for obtaining a new ESL student looks something like this:

  1. Lead is Captured: Student comes to your social or web presence and makes an inquiry into you services
  2. Trial Lesson Scheduled: Some communication is exchanged, you decide that the student is serious about learning with you, and a trial ESL lesson is scheduled
  3. Trial Lesson Delivered: A trial ESL Lesson is held and you propose a lesson package to the student either during the trial lesson or just after (by email)
  4. Student Decision: your ‘trial’ student decides whether to buy a lesson package with you!

But how do you maximize your chances of success? How do you structure your communication before and after the trial ESL lesson to maximize your chances of a sale? What should you do during the trial ESL lesson? That’s what today’s webinar is all about!
