My approach

I always give my students detailed notes on their mistakes (grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, etc.), and teach them how to correct them. I also send them additional links for more information from reliable sources (Cambridge, Macmillan, etc.). Next, I teach pronunciation using a tongue-and-mouth model, as well as other digital tools and videos. Lessons with me are always personalized, and you’ll definitely learn a lot!

About me

Hi guys! I’m Maria and I’ve worked for top global companies (IBM, Emerson, Accenture, and Factset) using English and Chinese. I graduated from one of the top universities in the world, NUS (QS World #11). As I speak three languages fluently (English, Mandarin, and Filipino) and have been learning Japanese for two years now (JLPT N5 94th percentile), I definitely know what it’s like to use a foreign language at work, as well as to learn it as an adult. By the way, my Diploma in TESOL is accredited by the UK government (Ofqual TQUK Level 7). I look forward to helping you!
