You can now write on our ESL Lesson Plans!

Off2Class is pleased to announce that you can now write on our ESL Lesson Plans!

Over the last couple of months we’ve been increasing opportunities for teachers to personalize their experience on Off2Class. Our new classroom text tool will now allow teachers to write on top of our ESL Lesson Plans! We’ve also upgraded our annotation pen with a thickness and colour selector to allow for a better drawing experience.

Watch this short demonstration video to see our new annotation tools in action:

Our ESL Lesson Plans are designed to be taught live, interactively with students. To complement our adaptive resources we’ve also designed our annotation tools to be used in a live setting. Teachers can easily use our markup tools to adapt our lesson content in real-time with their students. You can use the tools to highlight pieces of our content, or create your own examples on the fly. They are a great tool set for contextualizing our ESL Lesson Plans for your students.
If you need to save text and drawings between lessons, be sure to use our canvas functionality. On your lesson’s canvas, we automatically save your annotations, images and videos, so they will be accessible the next time you launch the same lesson plan from our library.

Let us know what you think of our new writing and drawing tools! We encourage you to experiment with your own students and report back below.

I like the new options. I think the default should be black and a bit smaller diameter. I find myself always needing to change it to that before I can start using the pen now. But I do really like the other colors!

      Hi Rob,
Thanks for the feedback. Let’s see if we can make that change for you! What do you think about the text tool?
