All the vocabulary introduced in this lesson is related to how we celebrate these days: flowers, card, gift, hug, kiss, tradition, together, barbeque… When introducing these phrases, remember to refer to the related images to provide context clues.

This lesson includes plenty of reading texts and opportunities for discussion and practice. Encourage students to give longer answers with examples and reasons.

Finally, this lesson ends with a learning activity to write and make a card to celebrate the holidays, which students can of course take home to their parents!
